check deleted folder and see that emails from My Mum appear there in Red
(highlight watched messages is set to red colour).

I get a message that new mail arrives in the task bar, the number of mails is
visible in the tree window, but no new mails are visible in the inbox. How
come? Secutity settings?

A friend sent me a picture and re-sent, but both times I didn't receive it.
Both e-mails showed as about 480kb, indicating an attached file, but there
was no attachment line or embedded picture. He says it shows up fine in his

I USED to be able to save graphics from my emails as .GIF. Then, one day, I
could no longer do so: the ONLY file format to save in NOW is .bmp! I never
changed any settings, so it must have been an upgrade that messed this up. I

Every now and then Outlook Express pop-ups a message saying that in order to
free space must compact messages and asks me whether i want to procceed with
that action.
Can someone alaborate please on that.

Since upgrading ot IE7 every time I try to save a picture embedded in a OE6
mail message I receive an Windows Internet Explorer error message that file

It all started with trying to upgrade to pack 2, that was a disaster.  I
restored back to an earlier date.  It ran ok then when I tried to switch
identities it just would not work.  I had to restart my computer.  It started
again.  I tried the create new identity and move files.  ...
