My father in law recently downloaded IE7 and ever since when sending an email
using OE6, the error box appears and the program shuts down,  Anyone having
similar problems and if so any ideas how to fix

My OE6 works fine in all respects except when receiving large attachments
which have been split into smaller multiple parts by the sender's OE6.  I
remember some time ago this used to work ok but now the parts do not combine
automatically nor does 'combine and decode' work.

Is there any reason when I do a search for files on my PC, as in
START/FIND/FILES or FOLDERS that it doesn't find the files that I have
saved within Outlook Express?

I have just found that when I attach a *.bmp it is appended below the
message.  Although the size of the message text appears OK on screen when it
is printed from either the sent box or when it is received (I have sent to
myself) the text size is minute.  I'm sure it should be ...

When click on links within emails nothing seems to be happening, ie. to
connect me directly to an item in ebay via an email. This has only just
started happening.

When I reply to any message a heavy black vertical line appears.  I can't
find out how to get rid of it and I don't know how I got it in the first
place.

For some unknown reason I can't access the majority of my favourites after
having saved the shortcuts. Some of them are OK but only after clicking on
them repeatedly. Any help gratefully appreciated.

I just installed Norton Internet Security 2007 and discovered my spam is
being delivered directly into my In folder rather than into my Norton
AntiSpam folder. I no longer have the option of right-clicking on an email
