Am I correct in concluding that the only way of changing an Identity's

I have a Compaq desktop with Win XP. I have now got a Acer notebook with Win

As I mentined in the subject line I empty my in box and it still shows I
have4 unread messages. How can I change this? It is annoying.

Outlook Express won't access friends's Hotmail; etc.

     i have three accounts in outlook express 6 (comcast,hotmail,
msn). and in my folders list all the inboxes are listed.
      i added gmail account but it is not listed as a seperate inbox,
i sent a test email and the email(or gmail) went into my comcast

I at all can not use the mail that there to do, installed all that it is

Has MS issued any updates to OE?
My son has recently bought a new Dell w/xp & ie6, OE6 which is configured
with a 'spam' folder.

My friend says she has suddenly lost her toolbar in OE.  To do anything she
now has to go into File etc.
I suggested she look in layout she said it was checked there and she had
also gone into customize but didn't solve the problem.

As soon as an IMAP alert is sent by the mail server my OE crashes. Two alert
windows shows within matter of seconds and when clicked ok, OE crashes. (I
have experienced this problem with different types of alert messages from the
