A friend is running OE6 and Win XP, same as I am. When she gets to the Create (message) screen, she does not see the spell check icon. How can we get this back?

I only need one identity in my OE. I named it with my name. But when I close OE and re-open it, a new identity, 'Profil1' comes up and automatically opens all new emails. I delete it, but it keeps comimg back. So I deleted 'My name' identity, and changed 'Profil1' to 'My name'. New ...

I have Windows XP2 (completely reinstalled after reformatting last month), latest patch level, IE7 for 3 weeks and Outlook Express 6. Before the latest Microsoft automatic updates earlier this week, the following problem did not exist.

My Outlook Express 6 allows me to retrieve 600 more headers, but is there an archive of newsgroup messages somewhere and a way to access it, or do they vanish permanently after a certain period. If there is an archive can it be searched for a specific topic? jc

Please help...my Outlook Express 6.0 Inbox says that I have 1 message, there is no message, just the number 1 beside the word inbox. When I check via webmail, it says I have no mail. How do I get rid of that number (1) beside my inbox ?
