Since about Aug16, no new msgs appear in subscribed newsgroups (on my
ISP). No error msg is raised. However, if I subscribe to a group I have
never subscribed before,  all msgs will download.
Msnews works fine - this seems to affect only my ISP's newsgroups.

Since yesterday when I open an attachment that is a jpg file, it opens up
Microsoft Office Document Imaging program and a message pops up saying "The
selected file is not a valid Microsoft Office Document Imaging file".  
Previously it would open the file using Internet Explorer 6 ...

I have Windows XP2, latest patch level, IE7 as of 1 week and Outlook Express
6.  Before IE7 the following problem did not exist.

I have used OE6 for quite a long time and havent had the
problem before of mail sitting in the Out mail box  and
actually being sent but not moving to sent mail ???
I get a little yellow triangle with an exclamation mark

When I click on a link to transfer to another page the page opens but never
loads. It just has the word Done in the lower left hand corner.
No error messages, no clues as to what is wrong.
What can be causing this? It is driving me nuts.

I am in an unfortunate situation where some of my folders were
automatically compacted and now I cannot see any messages in those
folders.
Details about my computer:

Outlook express keeps deleting all old message and I lose them they end up on
the desktop filling the screen, they become DBX files, I've found them copied
them to a new file and tried importing them, in the past it worked but now I
can`t get some of the old stuff back only ...

Today, when I was using my AOL account, I was trying to send a email

I cannot send emails now.  What do you suggest?
