Can anyone help me with this problem.When I open outlook express it says
receiving mail but nothing happens,I have to go to webmail to receive them,
after that I start to get my mail through outlook express,there is no error
message etc.

WinXP SP2 and OE Ver 6.0.2900.2180 with latest updates.
I use a free News Server "Motzarella" as well as my ISPs News Server, to
back up a couple of news groups.
(The ISP News Server fails now and then).

I just switched to DSL . When I setup the identities for the new server in
oe6 all went well. However, I had 4 different identities in outlook express
when I had dial-up and when you clicked the oe icon in the tray it gave you
a box and you selected the identity that you wanted. ...

I am new to outlook and I'm not sure what I am doing I have school which is one of my newsgroups, but do I have just a regular email? I'm not sure what my settings should be then, can anyone help me with this?

Newly installed IE7 prevented OE6 from accessing hotmail a/c19 Dec 2006 03:36 GMT5
Have been using OE6 to access my hotmail a/c for years, ie, although I'm
using the 'free' hotmail a/c, I've been utilizing OE6 to read my emails
during the DAV support and as such, I could still read my 'free' hotmail...
that is, until an hour ago when I upgraded to IE7.

My subject says it all.  Was able to import all my email messages.  Was even
able to set up my current newsgroup.
But, when it shows newsgroup messages downloaded and read, the preview pane
looks blank.

Outlook Express.  I use Hotmail for my email and several days after
installing IE7, I can no longer access my email.  I now have to go directly

My deleted items folder has dissappeared from view and the delete function no
longer works, a search could not find "deleted items.dbx" yet when I tried to
create a folder with that name it told me that it already existed, any idears
