sounds for various actions which werent there before. How do I switch them

I've noticed something that's puzzling me that just seems to occur on the
Microsoft news server (as opposed to my regular RCN Usenet server where this
doesn't occur.
The numbers in brackets that accompany the name of the newsgroup on the OE

Suddenly out of nothing my outlook express does not receive any email.
I have already reinstalled outlook express  but no email comes in.
( i write this email at a frends PC)

Well, I should have paid more attention to a proper method to backup my IE6
stuff. I did in fact save the store folders in the identity files- several
were there including one for each of several old email addresses and one set
up just for newsgroups.

I have two hard drives on my computer and was wanting to keep purely
programs on one and data on the other.

My OE is stuck on one email that it will not let me delete. this happened on
12/23 since then i have downloaded every fix it from Microsoft. I have all up
to date anti virus and internet securities, even windows defender.

i just got a new laptop...when i get new mail, i do not get a sound or
an icon in my systray.  i've looked at the outlook settings, i tell it
to play a sound when new messages come in - nothing.  i tried looking
in systray properties to see if it's always hidden - the new message

files. I have a laptop with all the dbx files on it so need to find out how
to inport those dbx files I way able to copy them to the folder with my new
computers dbx files but they old one do not display help

I use Outlook Express. In the past I have been able to save graphics
embedded in e-mails to me by simply placing the mouse cursor over the image,
clicking the right mouse button and, from the menu that pops up, selecting
"Save Picture As..." I would get a dialog box asking me to ...

Just had XP installed...used to have ME.  I always had "WORD" when using ME
but now, with ZP, I don't.  I do have a program called "Wordpad".  Is that
XP's replacement for "WORD"?   I miss WORD as it had spellcheck and grammar
check which "Wordpad" doesn't have.  Do I have to go ...
