Is there any way to completely disable the folder compacting
that happens every 100th time you close OE?
This process takes a long time and continues to eat up processor time
long after it says it is finished. I usually have to reboot to recover

for some reason today IE 7 stopped clearing web history and now it will not
clear web history!!!! i tried the repair tools
something like sfc \ scannow but it did not help and then uninstalled and
reinstalled it still will not clear the history.

I noticed that some of my e-mail messages that I have saved in my sent folder
are no longer showing the date sent.  What's worse, I just sent an e-mail
message and it does not appear at all in the sent box.  Is there something
wrong with OE or wasn't my message even sent?

Since my computer suddenly (and mysteriously) rebooted yesterday, I've been
unable to send or receive e-mail in Outlook Express.  I've tried rebooting
(again, and on purpose!), checked with my ISP to make sure settings were
correct and that they had no server problems, but nothing ...

Well not all, but I have about 25 messages from different people in my inbox
that I would like to send a reply to all of them, same message.. and I don't
want to put them in my address book... I don't see how to select multiple
and reply with one message.. ?

Links (www's) that are on my emails wil not open when I click on them. When
I click on them I get a bing bing sound, like a block sound. Tried micro. ,
mcafee, telstra. No luck.
Can anyone help please.

I have WinXP Home, and when I click on email addresses on websites my Outlook
