Emailing MP3 Files18 Jan 2007 00:31 GMT3
Whenever I try to send an MP3 file (as little as 4MB) it "times out" even
though the setting is at 5 minutes.  I (and the recipient) both have a
fiberoptic connection (3mbps-5mbps upstream), so I can't understand why
these are "timing out".

FYI,
I fixed my OE spell check which defaulted to French due to OE's incombatilty
with Office 2007 spell check program.  What I did was install Office 2007
without the Proofing tools.  When you start the installation you click on a

When opening OE after first starting up the computer, it trips the dial-up
connection and everything works fine.  After exiting OE and disconnecting
from the internet, when I return to OE it shows that it is still working
online and will not trip the dial-up connection.  If I ...

Problem switching between identities16 Jan 2007 01:12 GMT2
I am having problems switching identities in OE 6.  When switching from one
account into the other one, files won't transfer. I close OE and if I want
to re start it again, it won't open. I have to reboot the computer in order
to open OE again.
Outlook Express Linking16 Jan 2007 00:06 GMT1
Outlook Express opens fine; email can be read; email can be sent.  No
problem. But if you click on a link in a newsletter, etc.?  Nothing happens.
If you forward the email to another email address and try to open the link at
that address, it opens immediately.
Can't post via OE 15 Jan 2007 16:38 GMT27
I can't post to alt.binaries.pictures.fishing via bellsouth's news server using
OE; however, I can using Mozilla's Thunderbird?  I don't care much for
Thunderbird, as it's filter system is cumbersome and doesn't seem to actually
block posts like OE's "block sender" does.

Does anyone know if there is a way to withdraw messages that have been sent
in Outlook Express (v.6)?  Other sources say that there is a "cancel message"
option on the message menu, but there is none on mine.  This appears to only
be available in "corporate" OE, which I don't  ...
