I am trying to convert from Netscape mail to Outlook Express and when I

 I uninstalled Norton AV 2005 and installed AVG 7.5 - now I get the above
error in OE 6.0. I tried uinstalling AVG and still got the same error. I
tried a System Restore and still had the same problem. I understand this is a
IP address problem, but my mail settings have not ...

I run windows XP with AVG Antivirus software that has the email screening
portion of the program disabled.  I have a news decoder program called Yenc
shut down and, in OE,  the server is correctly named in the accounts/default
mail account/ properties folder.  I recieve this ...

I had enjoyed the ability to set up 4 different email addresses which share
the same address book. That was with Windows 98 on my old PC.
Now that I have finally upgraded to Windows Pro MCE on my new PC,
I seem to have lost the ability to share this address book.

A friend asked me this question, I don't know if he is on Dial Up or
Broadband connection.
When on line sending mail or receiving - can you operate other jobs i.e.
drafting a letter or other such without disturbing the speed of incoming

O/E continues to fail in sending out e-mail. 3 error messages state that my
Password was rejected. Operating under my identity, how can that be?

I can get a Bcc bar on outbound mail if I go to the trouble of clicking on
'Recipients', then moving a name to the Bcc box.  How can I get a permanant
Bcc bar on outbound mail?

I'm getting ready to replace my present computer with a new one and wanted

Before I had to reload my new operating system, I had 3 options on the
bottom of the 'Create' window.  One option was to 'Edit' the outbound file
in it's html format.  I can't remember the name of the other two except one
allowed you to view the text as the receiver would see it.

I am using the above programme to back up in particular my emails and
address book, however when I did my back up I noticed it saved a load of
stuff from newsgroups I had visited and even ones that are not on my current
list of newsgroups.

Who is .gmail.com?
A senders email address some how was automatically entered in my Outlook
Express address contacts. Don't know anybody by the email address extension
.gmail.com. what ISP uses that extension?

I have an archive folder section in OE6 and had created a subgroup off of
