I downloaded something called OEToolbar from an MVP site.  But didn't like it
so I deleted the program.  My newsgroup accounts look like they crashed
because I can no longer view messages.  I have deleted and recreated the
accounts but the messages seem to disappear after the ...

I can't figure out where to find the "Out of Office" message I would want
senders to see when I'll be out of the offcie for a week or so. Is there
such a message on Outlook Express?

I can't find how to leave an "Out of Office" message that senders would see
that would let them know I wouldn't be responding to their message for the

I have IE 7 and OE 6.0029.
I don't remember if this started happening before or after I upgraded to IE
7, but I cannot change the font size in OE messages I compose.  It defaults
to 12 and cannot be changed.  I can change the font from Arial to any other

I open an email and click on a hyperlink. It takes me to a new IE6
window. I click on another hyperlink and it opens in the same IE6
window as the previous hyperlink--deleting the first hyperlink. Is this
normal? Is it possible to get OE6 hyperlinks to each open in its own

Today, for the first time since I used OE (10 years), OE will not open.
 I have W2K.  When I click the icon, I get the error message:

I send an email about a problem with some software.  Under format the Plain

I am familiar with several methods for backing up OE, but I am not
familiar with a reasonable method of archiving old messages...and the
dbx files are growing very large. How should I archive?

Hello. I have it set up to where OE can download my hotmail folders if I add
my hotmail address. The problem is the folders never download. my screen
hangs at the message that "this may take a few minutes" and i am not on a
slow connection. what's going on? Thanks.
