i cant open some attachments in the outlook express
i've checked the security, its not that !!
i've seen the file association, its not that, i can open the file when
its on my disk !!!

I happened to notice when organizing one of my folders that an email message
that I received back on 06-Mar-2000 appears as 06-Mar-2006 and, therefore, is

From time to time I receive email having one or more
attachments.  Usually the "window" on the incoming message
form is large enough to list all of these attachments.
However, sometimes that "window" is only 1 line high, with

A friend of mine has this problem :
When he forwards a mail (that he got from another friend) then there is no

Recently I noticed that when I click an URL in OE, the port (80) is
appended to the URL in the address bar of the browser (IE7).  For
example, if I get an URL in my email - http://www.example.com - and
click it, IE7 displays http://www.example.com:80.

For years my killfile has been fine in OE6. Not any more. Now it seems to
reset itself all the time, especially when the PC goes off. This has never
happened before! Does anyone know what is going on here?

Damn thing has done it again!
Compacted all my folders/emails and deleted them and not realising I empted
my recycle bin and have lost the lot.
Is there a way to stop it compacting folders.
