In the middle of download of emails, lost the server connection. Did an end
to the program and restarted the outlook express, to my surprise lost 6
months of emails.
Is there any way to restore the emails back. Any help in appreciated

When an e-mail contains a link to a website and I click on it nothing
happens.  I just had to repair my win xp installation.  Any ideas why I
cannot connect to the links in an e-mail?   Thanks, Eric

When I receive a new E-Mail message on Outlook Express and it has a link (a
web site address) imbedded in the message, when I click on that link, nothing
happens. It use to work OK, I have no idea what happened or I did. Any one

in view winddow oe6 suddenly it stopped working.

Outlook Express mail server reverts to 127.0.0.1 and name reverts to my full
email address.  I can correct the pop server addres and name and then it
allows to get and send mail.  How can I stop this from making these changes?

After 2 days of working on OE6 I finally got it running, and now I cannot
send or receive. The error msg. says my server has unexpectedly terminated.
Please help?

Does anyone know if it's possible to go directly to "local folders" when
opening OE? I notice that there is an option for going directly into "inbox"
but I would prefer "local folders". Thank you.

A friend of mine did something to his OE6 that causes him not to be able to
view all his incoming e-mail (some e-mail contains only "gibberish").  He
sends it on to me and I can view it fine.  Some is just print and some are
pictures.

When I open outlook express I can see the headers only but cannot see any
message.  the wierd thing is that any message with html will sho an
attachment which I can open by clicking the paper clip and the message will
open in a browser.  However, any plain text will not be seen ...

When I want to read my mail in Windows Mail I fire up IE browser and then do
a "Read Mail".   The Windows Mail window always comes up behind the IE
browser window.  I have to click the mail window to get it on top.  I don't
