One of my folders containing a number of emails has disappeared from my
"saved" folders. I have a back up on an external HD. Is it possible to
retrieve just those?

If anyone has been successful in the above, I would be delighted to know how
they located the Outlook address book file (.wab).

Is it possible to avoid getting the message asking me if I want
to compact folders when I exit OE ... without actually
compacting?

I have recently tried to migrate to a new h/d. Getting the address books
moved has been grief.  I am using XP.
My wife has the old address book in her main book and nothing in her shared

I have a user who has the problem whereby POP3 emails cannot be downloaded.
Get an error message along the lines of server may be having a problem, etc.
I had this same problem with this user and I fixed by deleting all their
emails and then it all worked.  I got user to go offline ...

Due to a large amount of SPAM that gets by filters and rules, could MS come
up with a short-cut (button) that would throw all unopened/unread and/or
unviewed e-mails from your inbox folder to your deleted items folder?
Similar to the right click on deleted items folder to delete ...

For some months I had to use another computer for my emails. Now I am back
to my usual computer and would like to import my .dbx files from my other
computer to my main computer BUT without overwriting my existing .dbx files

can anyone tell me why the files Inbox,  Deleted items, etc, are so very
large ?

Hello Folks.  I did what I would consider a normal defrag. After it completed
I had several difficult problems. My curosr now has a black box  that is
about a 1/4 inch square. The black box will stay put and the "I" beam that is
my cursor moves as normal.

I have a problem sending email to a Club group of 60 addresses.  Bellsouth
tells me I should be able to send a message to approx. 280 addresses in one
group without a problem, but that is not the case. If I split the group into
three new groups (25,25 and 10) the first two groups ...
