OE is not opening URLs inserted in incoming e-mails10 Feb 2007 01:03 GMT3
Now, when I click on a URL sent in an incoming e-mail, it will not open,
even with Ctrl/Click. Whats-a-going-on? It did it last week.

I am trying to Compact All Folders, and so I set File>Work Offline as
recommended. But I still get mail and, during compaction, get a message
that the Folders folder is being used. The Icon in the lower right says
"Working Offline" How come? I'm using OE6, XP SP2. Any suggestions ...
Word attachments converted to text10 Feb 2007 01:01 GMT6
When I receive Word attachments, they are mysteriously converted to
unreadable .txt documents. I am using OE6, Norton AV, and Trend Micro
Anti-Spam. They leave the sender as .doc and arrive as .txt. Any one
have any suggestions? Thanks.

I hope I explain this correctly...
In the menu area of oe 6 where it says tools, I used to be able to find the
accounts menu there, but it's gone now.  I also looked in view and columns,
but no reference to it there, either, so now I can't view or edit my

I am using OE6 and just recently started having problems opening any
attachments in my email. When I click on the attachment, my Windows Media
Player attempts to open the attachment. Of course it doesnt work. How can I
switch the opening process back to OE??

Have  new windows xp machine and need to migrate my outlook express folders
from the old machine.  I have copied all of the .dbx folders to disc, but am
having problems copying them to the new machine.  Old PC was Win ME with OE6
and the new PC is Win XP Pro with OE6.  Any help ...

I am using outlook express with a msn http email account.  When I open the

I have a problem with a pc, it have panda internet security, with this pc
tries to connect to the email servers it fails, no errors, just keep trying
to connect until the time limit is reached.
I know the problem is Panda because if i turn off the automatic protection

Lately, when I reply to or forward a message, SOMETIMES, even though
the message gets sent and goes into the Sent folder, the message
remains open on my screen (leading me to believe that I never hit
"Send").

Since I installed Vista I have lost Outlook. I recieve prompts that Hotmail
is no longer supported. ve tried everything??
