I had the last four versions of Sun java installed but had trouble at one
important site. They had me remove all but the latest and also install MS
java. This fixed that problem.
Now I get the occasional red X on some sites which I never got before so

I have reviewed the messages that explain, to some degree, the issue. I am
confused as I follow the steps  - tools - options - security tab - but I
don't have the same options as shown on the example. I can't uncheck an
option that I don't have on the screen.  What to do next ...

I can't download any newsgroups, except yours.  I've even disabled my
firewall.  It looks like it's downloading, but it just goes forever.  What
do I need to do?

I seem to be getting an increasing amount of e mail messages where the
picture is not visible. Text is ok but no picture; i.e., caption ok but no
picture to go with the caption.
I get the white box with the small red "x" in the upper left corner.
