Two id's are defined and by 'switch identity' each can be seen to have mail.
I would like to have the mail for both appear when Recv is clicked on one
identity.

When I try to send or reply or forward any message I get a message "The
message could not be sent.  There is not enough memory."  I can still send
mail using my web mail.  I am using OE 6.  My OE folders are pretty empty.  I
have no problem with memory usage in other programs.

My son accidently must have compacted messages in most of the folders in
Outlook Express 6, SP2. There are only a few left with any info in them.
These were mostly created folders. All are missing from in box, sent items,
etc. Is there any way to recover them?

i have been backing up my OE using Win Explorer and navigating to the
location where the file is stored; via Doc and Sett\my user name\local
sett\app data\identities\(location: 79E......\Microsoft\Outlook Express.
Now, when I do this, I can't get past the location site(79E.....) - ...

For the past two days msgs are not downloaded into my Inbox. I get the error
box "an unknown error has ocured". The details are as below:

I know that the colour of  particular emails can be changed as they arrive,
based on sender. I have 2 set up like that. Can they be changed after
arrival ie. a particular email that you want to stand out from the others?

How can I set up a mail rule that, if the address in the TO: field is NOT my
EXACT address, delete it automatically? I had one oncew, but my C: drive

Hi all.  I am so mystified.  Suddenly two days ago Word attachments I
opened and read in Outlook Express and then closed moved to the
following path: C:\WINDOWS\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\
(then an odd number supplied by the computer such as 096BSXQR - name

Using OE6, all updates & patches in place.
Somehow an email address has been entered into the "Shared Contacts" folder
(which used to be empty) and for some reason OE won't let me delete it.
How do I delete it?

How do I set up a news group from my provider?

2.  I have not found a way to save that folder/messages to my hard drive
