I have 2 ID'S in outlet express. Main Id & one I use for business. All of a
sudden last night when I went to "file"& switch ID'S the little box opens &
lo & behold I now have 2 main ID"S ( one on top of the other ) + my business
one .. Any ideas where the second Main ID came from ...

From time to time, something makes backup copies of all my OE folders and
puts them in the recycle bin:  inbox.bak, sent.bak, deleted items.bak, etc.
What's doing this? Can I turn it off?

Hi all, when I delete emails from my inbox it puts a line through them
but does not put them in my deleted folder. It appears they are gone
forever into never never land once I purge the deleted emails. I hate
keeping my inbox full of deleted emails. I don't want to delete them

I can build an email on OE6 but I cannot send it to the outbox. The mail
properties identify it as under construction. Size, attachments etc do not
make any difference. When I click on the 'send' icon it is not recognised.
There is no error message.

Yesterday for the 1st time I compacted my OE email and now I can't access my
old email.  I had created several sub-folders under my OE local directory.  
After compacting my email, most of my personal sub-folders disappeared

Paypal is not in my blocked senders area but I cannot get emails from them.
Is there a way of getting them through in OE 6? I can get emails from every

Somehow outlook express says it's deleted everytime I bootup and asks me is I
want to remove perferences.  Then I can't run system file checker becasue it
says I'm not using the right XP cd.  I tried to restore at 2 different points

It is possible to 'Request read receipt' (which can be ignored).  However,
someone sent me an email whilst we were talking on the phone and claimed to
know that it had been delivered.  Is this a feature of OE7?  If so how is it
done.

OE adds an attachment icon to e-mails that don't actualy have an attachment,
I have the box " read messages in plain text only" unchecked. I had the same
problem a while back after I reformated XP, and was able to find help solving
it. now that I reformated again the same problem ...

Does any one know how to force Outlook Express 6.0 to use pipelining
command.
I've no problem on Authenticate operation (server answer that ESMTP is
supported and the command Pipelining too).
