Some messages cannot be deleted13 Apr 2007 02:48 GMT3
This is strange. On a friend's PC, (Win XP Home SP2, OE 6) some messages
refuse to be deleted from the inbox. With others, there is no problem.
Any explanation for this?
Thanks in advance,
Outlook Addresses13 Apr 2007 02:48 GMT4
I use Outlook 2002 and my wife uses Outlook Express 6. We both use Windows XP
Home edition with all latest updates on a home network.
Can my wife's Outlook Express use the same addresses (postal & email) that I
use on Outlook?
Need Outlook Express in VISTA13 Apr 2007 02:48 GMT10
If you love Outlook Express - and need it for different identities - all
password protected - easy to transfer messages and add books from one pc to
another, easy to store for backup - FORGET VISTA. Windows Mail is great, but
does not allow multiple identities. It's killing me!
Double Messages13 Apr 2007 02:48 GMT2
I use Outlook Express 6.0 as the default mail client in my machine
(P4, 2.8 GHz, 512 MB RAM).
Whenever I open OE6.0 to receive mails, each mail gets listed twice in
the Inbox. Why so?
deleting messages too quickly purges them13 Apr 2007 02:47 GMT4
I found that deleting messages in my in-box or sent-folder too quickly
permanently purges them, rather than sending them to my delete folder as
expected.  It is like a default is set to do this if OE6 thinks that I have
double clicked on delete.  Is there any setting I can change ...
OE won't shut down13 Apr 2007 02:47 GMT6
New problem:  After sending and receiving email I try to shut OE down.  It
hangs and hogs the processor - about 50-60%.  If I click on the red X again
sometimes it shuts down.  If I do it from Windows Task Manager most of the
time it shuts down.  I have uninstalled and ...
Activating Links in OE13 Apr 2007 02:47 GMT4
For some time now I find I cannot activate any links in OE. I have a friend
who has the same problem. I have searched Tools and other possibilities but
cannot find solution.
I think this might have happened when I started using Firefox.

I used to keep e-mail folder on my personal
identity.

OE doesn't close13 Apr 2007 02:45 GMT2
Besides taking a long time to start-up, my OE doesn't shut down, unless I
stop the process through  "end task" in the task manager. I have "Bit
defender" AV. Could e-mail scanning cause the problem? Thanks for any
advise.
