For the past month or so I have been experiencing problems with receiving
emails.  Some emails I will receive and others I will not.  This is geeting
to be pretty agravating.

i cant get to my mail from yahoo,and hotmail,and bigpond mail tell me what
should i do to read my email

I cannot add an e-mail account because the mail tab is not in the accounts
window. Does anyone know why the tab would be missing?

I have tried the suggested fix of deleting / recreating the pop3iul.dbx(?)
file.  I am not dealing with Hotmail or MSN.  The situation was double

I used to be able to drag and drop e-mail attachments into the New Message
window in OE and it worked great. Now I can't. I'm running WinXP so I did a
restore to previous date. It worked for ahwhile but now I'm not able to drag

OE 6 would not send my mail...I am getting mail, but can not send

BlankAs secretary for our Homeowners Association I want to send e-mail to the members (60) I have
listed as a group in my Outlook Express Address Book as follows:
1. I do not want to show all e-mail addresses to everyone.
2. In the "To:" I want to show the recipients address only.

Is there any way to re-install outlook express? I can't send or recieve any
messages. I know that my settings are correct. I have checked them more than
50 times.
Any help is greatly apprecieted!

How do you set viewing all messages in html in newsgroups. I used to have it
set that when you click on any message it would show the picture in the
preview pane. Now I have to go to view ...show message in html for each one.

I hope someone can help me -- after I installed MagicRotation software
version 9.1.0429 which came with newly bought Samsung SyncMaster
204B LCD -- it worked fine BUT it screw-up my Outlook Express!!! when
I click OE launch Icon it shutdown PC and checkdisk started -- every times.

Lately  active blue links in outlook express 6 are no longer active. Used to
be I could click one and it would open Internet Explorer and go to that URL.
Now nothing happens when I click them. How do I get that function back?

OE asked if I wanted to compact my folders yesterday.  I clicked OK, thinking
it would do something in the background.  It completely tied up my PC to the
point that changing window views took about 30 seconds.  I was busy with
another project so I clicked on the cancel button to ...

It seems there are many problems with OE & outgoing mail. My problem is the
reverse----my mail sends well enough, but I can't get incoming mail. Is
there a simple reason for this?? All attemps at help gratefully accepted.

I recently compacted my folders, and now have found all the folders.bak in
the recycle bin. I assumed they were old .bak files, so did a search for the
current .bak but didn't find them.
This is the first time I noticed .bak files in the recycle bin. Is this
