My ramblings at any time within certain newsgroups tend to be a couple
of paragraphs long.
The sentences within these paragraphs sometimes are broken up with only

Is there any way to turn off compacting? I have Windows XP home, OE6
xp_sp2. It seems like there is no option to turn it off.
Or should I just allow the compact process  and not interrupt it or
use OE during the compacting process in order not to lose files?

I recently set up Outlook Express on my parents computer, since that is the
e-mail program I use and typically don't have too many problems.  They are
having a terrible time with junk mail.  From Wednesday to Sunday they had 982

Even though I have run my virus scan weekly, within the last few
weeks, message disappear suddenly. This isn't a problem with usage on
my home computer, so could a virus or spyware maliciously remove some
of my mail? I haven't run adaware for a while, and it did pick up 5

In Outlook Express I have an account set up (name@yahoo.co.uk) which has a
forwarder (name@domainname.org.uk) directing mail to it.  Is it possible for
me to reply to e-mail received via the forwarder using the forwarder e-mail
address (name@domainname.org.uk) in the 'From' box ...
