I recently received an email from a friend as below.  I replied to it in OE
using the 'Reply' button, so the address was correct.
My reply email was bounced back with the message below.  I have asked AOL
what the problem is but no response.

Is there a way to save all incoming and sent e-mails so that if I have to
empty out my computer and reinstall everything I will save this info?

Port 110 is blocked after changing account. Reboot makes port 110 open, but
only for the first user. This started to happen a month ago.
Is there any solution? Rebooting it not!

This new Dell with WinXP Pro/IE6/OE6 is giving me fits {whereas my older
Dell with Win2000/IE6/OE6 never misses a beat}.
Today, I noticed trash in my Desktop Trash Folder.  I looked, and it
contained several .bak files from OE6 - folders.bak, offline bak,

when sending email, I get a blue box pop up error message and the yellow
yeild sign. But there is no error message in the box.  The email is sent but
remains in the outbox and is not sent to my sent folder. Help

When I write or receive an email in standard Garamond font it is italicized
in my sent items or inbox, respectively, even though the sender or I do not
choose italics. This seems to have been the case since I downloaded IE7.
Also, This does not happen in my default Arial font.

I accidently clicked "Empty Deleted Items" folder.  Is there a way to recover
messages after this happens.  Thanks to all in advance.

Lately, when I click on an email address on a webpage, instead of
opening Outlook Express, my default email program, I get a popup that
says "Starting Word as your ....".  How do I make it go back to starting
OE not Word?

I have started up my new computer, transferred all of my data from the old
one and just discovered that I cannot send mail with attachments.  I am using
XP Pro as opposed to XP Home before, but still OE6.  Have tried various

I was checking my dbx folders and found that I have two entries for
microsoft.public.windows.internetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress.dbx. The second
emtry is the same EXCEPT  it has a (1) just before the .dbx extension
microsoft.public.windows.internetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress(1) ...

and all seemed to go well but I got the following error message.
Outlook Express

Can't seem to change the size of fonts when creating mail. Everything else
ok, italics underline, color, font type, and bold. But the size just goes
back to 12

I have a client that has a huge Outlook Express database, and the sent items
is not seen at all. I've tried to create a account with Microsoft Outlook,
but the sent items didn't show up there either. Is there anything else I can
try to see these messages?
