I would like to ask if anybody here can give me an idea about this
pesky  problem where the internet just shuts down when I open the
OE.That is during  the time when this facility is sending and

cOE6 on XP SP2.
When I try to attah a file to a message a dialogue box comes up telling me
to put a disc in a DVD drive.  It takes about six clicks to clear this box
then when I try again the same dialogue appears.

Is there a way to stop duplicate downloads of email from my Hotmail accounts
to appear in my OE email Accounts? Often I receive two of each email.

 When I try to open file attachments , in Outlook Express  6, I get a error
message saying that there is no program associated with that file. But the
truth is I do have a selected program for the file types. They will open in
Windows Explorer with the program I selected and ...

I just purchased a sprint wireless card which allows me to connect to the
Internet without having to use dialup or dsl. Outlook, which received and
sent my messages without problems via the dialup and dsl connections that
I've had in the past, doesn't seem to work well with this ...

I want to send an e-mail to a group, but I do not want the recipients to see
the names of the others in the group.  Is there a way to set it up so that
only the group name shows in the messages that they receive?

My ISP's Newsserver was not working one day and the ISP send me an e-mail
informing me that they are switching to a new newserver at a new dns
address.
I tried updating my news account to the new news address.

My wife and I share the same OE6 program and both store old e-mails in
various folders.  Recently, all of my wife's stored e-mails have disappeared.
None of mine seem to be missing, but all of her folders are empty.  Doing a
search for *.dbx shows all of the entries for her ...

Is there a switch I need to toggle on so I receive a message in the lower
right hand corner of my monitor showing a new email has arrived into OE? This
feature was enabled on an older computer.

I have 4 email addresses. On any of them the last 3 emails will not come in,
no matter how long I wait for the server to receive them.
Sending is no problem.
This is only a problem on my laptop, my PC receives and sends - no problems.

After I have reset my password for hotmail I am getting this error on
OE 6; despite updating; removing-readding as new account.
Invalid login.
