How do I control the size of pictures which I send as Email attachments in
Outlook Express?  Actually, I'd like them to go ONLY as attachments, but
surely not as huge pics inside the body of the Email.

I can't find any compressed files in the folder that OE says it uses to store
compressed files. As a matter of fact I've been dutifully compressing files
when OE asks me to and now I can't find those files anymore. My inbox.dbx
only has the files that OE left there after ...

When you create rule  do not download from server.
It shows contains with the email address the from may say something like
john  doe does it stop email from that sender. or do you have to change
contains then email address to john doe

I use OE 6 (winXP SP 2 and winXP SP3 RC) as a newsreader.
I'm doing some testing.  There are two NNTP-servers over here, they don't
have exactly the same list of newsgroups (1 has an extended version), but
you can connect to them using the same servername (RRDNS).
