No matter what I do I can't get back the English spelling function in OE 6.
Apparently, it uses a different dictionarry, because all the English words
get underlined in read as unknown.
Outlook 2007 spelling works just fine though. Any ideas would be greately

When I open a new message in OE 6 and click View, source edit is grayed out
and I'm unable to put a checkmark in Source Edit.
What caused me to lose these tabs and is there another way to get them back?

When forwarding e-mail, OE freezes, mail remains in the outbox, and at some
point in the future when it finally decides to go out, it sends multiple
copies to recipients. The PC has no viruses and I deleted the outbox.dbx

I have XP pro.  Now when I forward pictures or send pictures or any
type of attachment like a pdf file the recipient doesn't get the
attachments.  It says attachment but there isn't any file extension.
Or sometimes they don't get the email at all.  I have contacted my ISP

On my friend's computer, in OE, the menu bar has vanished. I mean the File,
Edit, Tools, Message, Help menu bar, not the Tools bar or similar.
There doesn't seem to be an option for this, and pressing ALT doesn't seem
to make any menu options appear.

    any way we can get Outlook Express to play a selected oiece of audio
(perhaps a bar or two of a favouritesong) when new mail arrives - instead of
the defauly windows selection of bins and bongs?
