I understand that when a file is sent to the 'Deleted Items' folder and
then this folder is emptied, the remnants of the email still exists on the
HDD.  How can one erase an email permanently from the HDD?

Sorry for false start a minute ago.
This is a neighbor's problem, and I am not in front of her screen now.  When
she receives a message in OE6, the green progress bars run across her screen
and the screen shows something that indicates the task has been performed

am using the outlook express address bookand microsoft fax console . During
the fax wizard I go to the
address book and I would like to use address book group that I have set up

   When I open a message, or when I send a message, I have to maximize the
screen each time.   Is there a way I can set the screen to maximize messages
automatically?

I hope I can ask my question here as I cannot find a better group to do
so....
I have one relation in the USA (I am in the Netherlands) that keeps saying
to me that her emails to me keep bouncing. The message she gets is:

je ne peut plus envoyer de message sur msn sa met erreur et de recomencer
ulterieuremen et sa fait deja 3 mois que je recomence et sa m affiche
toujour sa je commence en avoir marre alors jespere que vous m edrez a
reparer sa merci.

After installing WinXP SP2, IE6, OE, whenever I email a link to a webpage
via 'Mail, Send a Link' in IE6, I get this message in the body of the OE
email:
"The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link

I have a pc running Win2000 Professional that is offered this update over and
over again. Each time I install it, get the "Installed Successfully" message,
but then minutes later the same update is offered. It is not listed in my
Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs listing of ...
