Hi all..
Would appreciate any assistance. I've been using Windows
2000 pro for 2 years now, without any problems. I've
service pack3 and all patches and fixes installed. Just

started having trouble with ie6 a few days  ago. i have
tried everything from reinstalling ... sys restore..you
name it....o/s is xp pro...also for some reason all restore
points have been wiped out except 4 the day i started

All of a sudden I am unable to disable cookies. If I right
click the IE icon on my desktop/ properties I should have
a security tab through which I can sort out the cookies.
This tab is not there. Also if, when online, I enter

I'm using IE 6.0 SP2 under XP, I have the "show error messages" checked, debug option does not matter, and I still never have any Javascript error message showing.
Any idea what the problem could be?

Everytime I attempt to access a web page when it has
finished loading it freezes for upto 2 minutes. Is there
anything that can be done?

When a new window is popped open it is much much smaller
than the parent window and requires me to maximize it to
read it.  How does one set up the browser so I don't have
to take a seperate action everytime to maximize the new

I installe XP Pro w/ ie6 3 days ago and it worked fine.
Yesterday, I could not access https or secure sites and
haven't been able to since. I've got all the updates and
sp's, and still can't. Anybody got any suggestions?

I am using internet connection sharing and cannot
conect to secure sites using the client computer.

My desktop shortcuts for web pages (url's) will not open
in IE.  They open in notepad instead.

My explorer in the last few days has become really slow in
browsing. I have a broadband connection at 500k, this was
fine until a few days ago and now it takes ages to
