I have recently installed Win Xp pro. I dial up to the
internet with an external modem and browse the net with
internet explorer 6.0. After a little while I get an

For last few days, all the mages tha I am trying to save become .bmp, even
though they are JPG or GIFs. I have tried deleting cookies, emptying TIF
folders and history. But no luck.... :)
What's causing this and how can I get rid of it.

this is an intrusting one... when I try to access a page by submitting a
Username and Password in this form: http://username:password@domain.com it
brings me to a instant 404 page and title says "invalid syntax" now I know
the username and password are correct so that's not it. ...

Some images don't appear on web pages.  I get a blank
area with a small icon with a white "X" on a red field.

Most of the time when using IE if i click on a link it
wont do anything, then after a minute or 2 it will respond
and load the page. Any ideas on what to do to fix this?

I am having problems with my IE6. When I go to a photo sharing site (such as
fotopic or pbase) I can clearly see all the thumbnails but when I click on
the pic to see full size it will not show it?

I cannot disable script debugging on IE6 and get frequent
script errors on pages that otherwise run ok on Opera 7.2
