Does anyone know if you can copy and export from one PC
to another all the logins and passwords that are stored
and auto-fill. I have a new computer and do not want to
have to manually re-enter every login I use.

According to some RFC this should be a legal URL
http://username:password@www.servername.com/directory/index.html
However Ms Explorer doesn't seem to be capable handling this.
It reports an invalide syntax error (at the title) and doesn't show nothing.

I have some sites listed in my favorites bar that i can
not delete. when ever i do delete them. when i reboot they
are back again. any sugguestions or fixes would be great.

I am having a problem with my IE browser and when i
receive an email with anattachment. I can download the
file to my hard drive but when i want to open it from the
source it does not respond. It happens with all

Here is the issue.  We have a FTP site setup with accounts
and permissions.  When we use IE6 to go the ftp site it
will only let us into the home folder and beyond but wont
let us get to the previos folders or to the root of the

IE freezes. I have to close down IE, then restart it.

I'm having a problem with IE6 on Win2k; the browser will not remember
the login/password for the kp.org website.
I've verified that the 'Tools->Internet
Options->Content->Autocomplete' menu has both "User names and

when I turn off my computer and reboot the IE hopepage keeps being reset to an unfavorable page that I never requested.  I also have a couple of extra selections in my favorites that I don't want. I keep deleating them but the reappear each time I turn off the computer and reboot ...

As of a few days ago, suddenly left clicking on a link
does nothing. Right clicking and choosing "Open" or "Open

format, IE wants to always save it as a bmp file. How do I
change IE to save it in the jpg/jpeg format?

I've got an issue whereby Internet Explorer changes the filename of
files being downloaded if they have multiple periods (dots) in the
original filename.  It adds [1] into the filename.
Eg. Trying to download a file named TestDoc.doc works fine, but when

Internet Explorer has been messing up for some time and now
problems are occuring with greater frequency.  Whenever I
open a page in a new window, all the windows flash for a
while.  Also, Internet Explorer keeps randomly closing.
