When I open up my internet explorer, the hotbar (toolbar)  always shows up
and then I have to manually hide it.  I don't know how to customize
iexplorer so that the bar stays hidden.  Any ideas on how to do this?  I am

Does anyone know why things work okay when I save webpages using
the Web Archive, .mht type of save but when I use the "regular"
Complete Web Page-type of save I can get all the text  and
pictures *but* the .gifs?

I am using Internet Explorer 6 on a PC, under XP Pro, with
all the patches (supposedly).
When I do a search on Google, the results flash up on the
screen for a moment, then - with the exception of the

I don't now what has changed on my config but I'm not able to maximize
correctly my ie6 window. It always leave a band not covered on the top of
the screen.

Whenever I am on the internet, I get the following error
message " IE has encountered a problem and needs to close"
in iexplore.exe with a modname of sysil32.dll.  After
searching the MS knowlegde base, I found errors similar,

Why is my transparent spacer image getting printed?25 Mar 2004 00:40 GMT1
I use a 1x1 transparent gif image for spacing things around using height=0
width=x
However when I print the webpage, these spacer images are getting printed
as lines. When I tested with Opera and Mozilla they do not get printed.

Running XP with 5 profiles on the system.
All the profiles are able to open up IE 6.0 except this
except for this one person. They get's a C++ runtime
Library error.

at the moment everytime i click on the IE icon to open up

How can I get rid of the list of words when typing in the
searchbar? I will be typing and words I have already
writen from months back apear...and if the first letter
is the same as others...it selects a word I dont

The tools menu and my web toolbar have links to programs I do not want on
them, added I assume by some pop up or other.  How do I get rid of them?
(Settings does nogt appear on my tools menu)

I think I may have found another bug in IE.
I have developed a web page to send payments online to paypal.  I am using
the default self signed cert for the site.  However, when I am sending
several fields of data, IE does not actually post the data.  It does goto
