I did my usual AdAware run on my machine the other day and lo and behold some site dropped a load of malware (browser hijack) on my machine. It was of no surprise since my search and home pages had changed without my direction.

I work for a bank, and we have an issue with spyware. It sets the default homepage, and won't let you change it. The error states that it is a protected homepage and can not be changed.

Is there a remedy to fix internet connection freeze ups? Sometimes my connection will freeze for up to 30 secs. I run Spybot and Ad-Ware all the time also. OS Win98 & WinME.
