When I open a new IE window by either using CTrl-N or
File, New Window, the status bar on the bottom of the new
window disappears.  I have to click on View, Status Bar
in order for it to appear.  Is there something I can do

I am using XP Professional.  Back and Forward Buttons are dimmed and don't
work.  I can go back and fork by right-clicking on the page and choosing
from the menu.  Is there a new virus out that disables the Back and Forward
Buttons?  Or what is going on?

We have one pc that will not connect to the internet.  I can ping an address
such as "www.microsoft.com" withought a problem, and doing nslookups work
just fine.  But Internet Explorer will not find any page.  Except for a
