I used to see icons as thumbnails from explorer but now I only see a
windows icon.
Can anyone tell me how I can get this back to the original setting.

I have problems opening some web pages with Internet
Explorer 6.It is trying to open but won't open even if I
leave it for 30 mts.Only a blank page remains. When I
click on the stop button, web page appears but it is not

My problem is that I can't see anything but a blank screen when I open up
IE. I can't open any web sites. I can open web pages through Outlook. I have
Windows 98SE and IE 6.

I get 'run time error' followed by various things
like 'object not found' or 'access denied' when browsing.
Happens, apparently, at random. Have to click on 'debug'
or something a few times and the page loads and the error

I've installed all critcal updates for IE except the
Express Installation because it's too big, but now
whenever windows trys to open a new IE window a status

WHen a file is being downloaded, instead of giving me the
option to open it, or save it, it now automatically

Whenever I open internet exlorer it keep opening little
background programs called "Iexplore". After a while I
have about 8 of these running regardless of wether
Internet Explorer is running or not. This didn't start

When I go to certain URLs, IE closes - for no apparent reason.  The URLs where this happens are random - no pattern whatever.  Could be an e-tailer or a weather site or ??  Any ideas?  Please help.

IE 6 crashes when I click on a streaming video link.  It
says connecting to media and then the error reporting
tool pops up and I always send an error message to

whenever i try to browse web sites I get error in status
bar c:\windows\system32\shdoclc.dll  DNS Error.  Have
contacted my isp & added dns server details to my tcp/ip
