A few days ago my homepage got changed to some search page
I've never seen before. But a long time ago I locked it so
it couldn't get changed. So now I can't change it back to
the page I use. How do you unlock it? I can't remember.

Ok I recently aquired a hijacker and some other mal ware.
When I use Adaware CWShredder and Spybot they can't seem
to get rid of it. Maybe I'm missing something. Adaware
seems to find most of it but when it tries to clear it off

I just bought a new computer and would like to move my
favorite pages in IE over to the new computer.  Is there
an easy way to do this?  (where are my favorites stored
on my computer?) OS: XP Pro

it takes way too long to load pages i've just been at when i click back.  i
just want to go back to what i saw, not reload everything again.  i changed
the temp internet file setting to "never check for newer versions of stored
pages" but it doesn't do anything.  perhaps the website ...

When trying to search directly from the adress bar I keep getting wierd URL returns instead of a list of sites found.
Example I tried entering: explorer help
Received the following line in the address bar and of course a page error:
http:///?%20explorer%20help

Is there a way to password protect IE from opening?    I have cable modem
now and want to keep the kids of the internet while adults not home.  I am
using CyberPatrol. Want them to still be able to use the computer for games.

OK, I was using IE no problem one minute and then I was
prompted for a Windows update.  After doing the windows
update every time I open IE it says very quickly Page Can

I have been having a problem with pop-ups on my computer.
The weird part is that IE will just suddenly open on it's
own and all these pages open. I don't even have IE open
when it happens! Plus it keeps changing my homepage and

I have a couple of Windows 2000 PCs running IE6 SP1. On
both of these machines, print requests from IE always
appear blank except for the header and footer. On further

hi all... the browser (6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633) was displaying
correctly the favicons, but unexpectedly these stoped for displaying, only a
blue E page appears.

can any1 help,only certain pages load up on my comp,i had
a few viruses & i got rid of those but since then the
comp seems 2 hate me!!  when the pages dont load it says
