often when computer, running Win98, is restarted, images
don't load in Internet Explorer or Outlook.  If an Outlook
message is forwarded, however, the image always loads.
usually problem is fixed - temporarily - by shutting down

I would like to set MSIE 6 sp2 on Windows XP sp2 system to treat "mcp://"
statements as either a trusted "Local Intranet" or "Trusted site" security
zone web site, so that it will not be treated as an "Internet" zone web site.
This setting will let me tighten default browsing ...

I upgraded to IE6 SP2 and now my media bar is no longer

When I attempt to save a photo file from website, file
name defaults to unknown and file format to Bitmap
although most files are clearly named and most are JPG

Every time I click on the IE icon (doesn't matter
where ... desktop, taskbar or in the menu area), it opens
the IE window for a fraction of a second, then closes it.

Whenever I type an address into the address bar it
returns a search page.  I am not able to get to any sites
by the address bar.

I had an irritating problem in that Explorer would not open more than 1
window at a time, closing down the original window if I clicked on a link.
After much searching, I disabled Yahoo Companion and the problem has been
solved. Google pop-up bar seems not to affect the problem.

My Internet Explorer is messing up.  The home page
says "about:blank" and I can't get it to go to my regular
homepage.  I can't open any windows (links) I can get to a
home page of a website but after that it reverts back to
