anyone know how i can get ie to remember where i put toolbars and which
toolbars are on? i ask cause my oem has hard coded its own code into ie and
now i cant get ie to remember my changes after a restart.

I've got a frameset that has 3 frames. One of the frames has what amounts to
a Javascript slideshow. It is set up to reload itself every 15 minutes.

Some web pages won't load, but others will.  I will get a "this page cannot
be displayed" message.  There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to
which ones will or won't, though I have noticed it happening more frequently
on financial institution's sites.

My dreaded AOL developed a hickup. I am told to repair IE which does not
appear in Add/Remove. I tried sysinfo32 but IE repair option is not listed
under tools. My best guess is a SP hid/removed the Add/Remove ability. Do I
need to use 2K CD to remove IE and then reinstall IE and ...

For work purposes, I cannot use IE6.  How can I get rid of IE6 and instead
go to IE5.5?  I have same situation on my xp machine and on my W2K machine.

I have seen other posts on this site that are similar to this problem, but
don't seem to be exactly the same. My IE6 toolbars periodically rearrange

How do I turn off the hiding pull-down menu items?  When I select Favorites
I want to see all of them, not just the ones I selected last.

MS IE generates the following error message when I shut it down.  Otherwise,
it seems okay.  I do suspect a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader as that
loads but gives an initialization error.  Don't know if they are connected.

Just installed SP2.  Like to know if the Popup information bar is supposed
