Hi. Am having lots of trouble getting ICS to work. I have a laptop and a
desktop, both XP. The laptop is connected to an Airlink+ router via WLAN and
the desktop via LAN. Both are on XP and both can ping each other. All
firewalls are disabled. Because ICS defaults your IP address ...

Under IE, I would like it to open every (or selectively if possible)
.txt link under notepad instead of displaying it in the ie window.
For example, when I try to open a .pdf link, it displays it with the
acrobat reader activex or so.

I recently removed a whole bunch of spyware from my XP home pc. Ever since
then, I cannot open any web page unless I use the IP address of the server.
Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this?

I am experiencing a few difficulties of late, silly things like I used to be
able to type in a web address in the browser window then hold CTRL + ENTER
and (www.) & (.com) would automatically be inserted.. but not anymore! I
haven't changed any settings and am using IE version (6.0 ...

I have IE6 on XPSP2, all updates installed. Malware scans find nothing. No
hijack symptoms.
My problem is that IE will frequently freeze up, usually but not always
after closing a window. The progression of symptoms is always identical.

I can't print one of the posts in this group.  I just prints what is on the
screen (my screen is small and only shows 2 lines of a post.)  If I highlight
the posting, it prints even less.
Also, if I click on "Notify me of replies", it always says, "...Failed...".

Hi, i can pinj to and from my broadband company however when i load internet
explorer nothing seems to happen, Technical support say that it is windows

have it working with premium, but I just can't seem to get it to work on
