I find that large animated GIF's run very sluggishly, even after the XP SP2 update. It appears to be a software bug because you can restore smooth playback by simply right-clicking the image and selecting "Properties"

When I try to change the view of my toolbars via a) right clicking on the toolbars b) or going the View-->toolbars all my options are greyed out except text labels.

I have the mysearchnow toolbar installed. Apparently this is done by MSN plus. So I uninstalled MSN plus. But the toolbar isn't removed. Toolbarcop does not show the toolbar. How do I remove it?

Has anyone found a solution to this problem. I looked at all the messages that I could find in this newsgroup and tried to turn off Passive FTP - that did not work for me. I also put an exception for port 21 in the Windows Firewall but that did not help either.
