I downloaded the service pack 2 and now Iwon prize machine

I previously had IE display the "Menu" toolbar on top, the "Address" toolbar
below that, the toolbar with the "Icons" to the right of the "Address"
toolbar.  Below that, I had "Yahoo Companion" and below that, the "Google"
toolbar.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to re-install Internet Explorer over itself?
The reason being, is because the SEARCH panel is regularly opening up by itself.
This is getting very annoying when your trying to read a web page.

When I click on a link to a pdf on a web page, it tries to install Journal
Viewer.  After clicking cancel about a dozen times it will finally open the
pdf in Acrobat as it should.  I checked the file association for pdf and it
