Annoying "Beep" - IE SP219 Oct 2004 14:14 GMT7
After I installed SP2, I've noticed an annoying beep
sounds frequently when I open a new IE window. It even
sounds when I don't currently have IE open and I go to
open it. The beep is the standard Windows "beep".

Hi all. I am having problem opening JPG files from Yahoo Email webpage. When
I open an email I can see a small version of the figure, but when I click on
it to open it I get no answer. I am currently using Windows Picture and Fax

When googling news posts, I frequently get unwrapped lines. Is there
any way within MSIE6 I can wrap these please, to avoid awkward

I just uninstalled Mozilla FireFox, and want to revert to Internet Explorer
6. In View -> Folder Options -> File Types, I can't find .htm, or .html.
FireFox appearently changes this to FireFoxHTML, but can't find this either.

My computer keeps losing my settings on the content advisor. It may take one
or two minutes but all of a sudden it pops up with "missing information in
content advisor". This is very frustrating. Any help would be greatly

A question about Hotmail but which is probaboy IE 6 related:
For some reason, links in messages calling up javascript no longer work in

I have recently installed Windows Service Pack 2 but I think it started

After installing SP2, I cannot view any pdf files in IE6.  I've tried to
"manage add-ons" but it is greying out the enable/disable selection.  It does
list Adobe as disabled.

I use an Internet email (Yahoo) and am having problems attaching files to
emails. When I click on browse to find the files to attach, nothing happens.
Also, it appears that my favorites have disappeared from my computer. When I
click on Favorites, nothing is there.

I've read all the threads about Windows size but none is working.  When I
open my exployer it opens no problem in maximized size.  What I want is to
right click a link and under the title "open in new window" I would like that
window to open very small so that I have to Maximize ...
