Can any one advise how to set Outlook Express as the default e-mail application? Under Tools, Internet Options, Programs there are no options on the pop down menu yet Outlook Express is configured and operating as a standalone application.

Suddenly my home page default is grayed out and uneditable. IE is also acting a little squirrely. Is this a virus or just that stupid SP 2 I downloaded in a weak moment? Cheers

I used to use the content advisor in IE6 to set it so that only sites explicitly permitted (i.e. were on the list) were able to be viewed without typing in the supervisor's password. Since I have downloaded the SP2 I cannot seem to get this to work and in fact the whole content ...

Hi, I have a problem. Whenever I try to open a window from a link (for example, in my email), the link will not work. In the status bar it always says javascripting:. Does anyone know how to set ie so that I can open these links??? Thanks.

I recently updated with the Windows XP SP2, and various problems arose, including the fact that the Address Bar on IE6 disappeared. I checked the View menu and also the toolbar settings, and the Address Bar was always checked. Also toggled F11 a few times, to no avail.

My status bar will not stay visible. I open it and then when I click a link or change pages it disappears and I have to re-open it. What can I do to make it remain within my screen like it used to without having to re-open it on every page?

I just installed SP2 and it will not accept cookies from Yahoo Mail (& who knows what else). I did everything the help file told me to, even rebooting the machine. It still will not accept cookies and Microsoft wants to charge to help me fix. Everything was fine before.
