If I need to reinstall IE 6, do I need to un-install it first? Will Windows XP allow the total removal of IE 6? I remember that IE could not be removed in Windows 98. Or can I just install a new copy of IE 6 on top of the installed one?

I had tried to post questions here today. But I found nothing happened. Then I was aware that the SP2 pop-up blocker was the reason. So I tried to turn off the blocker for any *.microsoft.com. However, the question editor window still didn't pop up.

I am having a problem on 2 machine's one, windows 2000 and the other Windows XP home. I have a problem where IE is not displaying all the hyperlinks and images. Example: If I go to www.staples.com, it does not show all hyperlinks.

Under (right click) the IE toolbar>customize, i have an extra item on the right hand side of the popup window (it says 'Your pc isinfected with Spyware, click here to fix the problem'). I don't seem to be able to get rid of it. I want to get rid of it. But how?

Why isn't Windows XP2 and IE6 not blocking this pop-up? I downloaded Spyware Doctor and it did detect some spyware but this one keeps coming up. I also have Spy Sweeper and it didn't detect this annoying pop-up. What is going on?
