Even though I have an ISP connection separate from MSN, I cannot pull up pages through Internet Explorer. I choose the correct dialup account and it connects, but IE will not access any sites.

I use IE6 and i unfortunately got a "spy software" which forces my starting adress, and sometimes replaces the adress of the site target by an unwanted address "about blank" which addresses an advertising site. It's impossible to change the starting adress. I used Norton antivirus ...

What is it about Microsoft? I would like to use Mozilla as my default browser. Mozilla, like any other alternative browser has its icons for, say, html, url, etc. But Microsoft just will not allow those icons to be changed... why?

I to have about blank and have been trying for days to rid my computer of it. I did as one suggested to go to Mc Afee and scan for W32.backdoor.cfb, for this person said it solve the problem, It did not for me.. said no virus's I did as another suggested by un-checking 3rd party ...

First of all, my platform is Windows 2000 Professional, and I use IE 6. I have been having this problem when in a site, I go to click on a link within this site, and all I get is a blank window that opens up. Has anyone had any problems like this?

As soon as i enter a web address, ie6 crashes and has to be shut down. maybe autocomplete is corrupted? anyone know how to start again - iv'e tried deleteing in the normal way. If i turn autocomplete off it works as normal. Im running xp sp2

In IE6 with SP2 XP Home if I go to Tools>Internet options>Security>Trusted sights. the sites button stays "greyed" out. I guess I'm too dumb but how do I add sites if i can't press the button? It's the same on the Internet icon. Local Intranet abd Restricted sites is ok........
