whenever i type into the address field on the internet
explorer 6.0 version it freezes up. i have no viruses or
spyware on my computer. please help

I have Windows XP with all updates except SP2.  I also have updated versions
of Ad-aware, Spybot, CWShredder, SpywareBlaster, and Morton Virus protection.
Two months ago my IE began giving me problems, which were, spurts of slow
and fast download times on one webpage, not ...

Is there a way to use group policies to only allow a user or a OU to certain
web sites.  I want the list of sites in the group policy as well.

If I change my email defaul in Internet Explorer 6 by going into Tools,
Internet Options, Programs, Email default and changing the default program
from Outlook Express to Outlook and apply the changes, the next time a start

I use an internet based mail that is not Hotmail or any
of the other Internet based choices.  Is there any way
that I can add my preferred site as an option in Explorer
so that I can use that as my default mail program?

Everytime I start IE 6.0, this program starts.  I removed
it using the Task Manager.  As soon as I click on any
portion of the currently displayed webpage -- it matters
not which one -- the program (muiexec.exe) starts again.  

I have spyware.  i am running windows 98 se and IE 6
i have run spybot, adware se  and cws shredder (i usually get host file

Hello - for some reason I know have Web Search as my default search engine
instead of the microsoft one.  Does anyone know how I can change it back to
the Microsoft as the default?

I cannot save my internet settings so that the home page
is anything but http://microsoft.oem101.biz/ I do not know
how it is that this page came to be my home page and this
