I recently installed Media Player 10. Now when I click on a link to an MP3 file I get a message that I don't have Windows Media Player installed and that IE is going to play the file with my default MP3 player.

I run a website which uses cookie authentication. Over the past year, I have recieved numerous complaints from users who cannot login to the site. They just get the login page over and over again, as if we are not recieving the cookie.

Suddenly, after using Favorites 20 minutes ago, they have disappeared. My main concern is what caused this? I have found them in C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\ Favorites and I am sure one of you can tell me how to get them back into the IE program !! ??

My laptop has Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6.0. Pop up ads keep popping up like crazy. I never had this problem with Windows 95 and 98 or previous versions of Internet Explorer. How do I stop them?

Hi. I just got a new GMail account but I can't access it via IE6. When I attempt to open it, it shows Loading, then Done, but the screen remains blank. I've tried Refreshing a few times to no avail. I can access the account in Mozilla's FireFox but I use IE most often.

Whenever I click on a link to a .bat file, a window pops up asking if I want to run or save the file. Is there any way to diable that window, and just have the .bat file run automatically when it's link is clicked?
