When I try to close IE either from the X or from File on the tool bar or right clicking on the quick launch toolbar, IE is unresponsive. To close IE I need to use task manager. Any help would be appreciated.

I am using XP service pack 2 and Ie version 6.0.2900 etc .... For many sites I want to browse I get the message : "Your current security setting prohibit running active x controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly" ! ! !

i ALREADY DISLIKE INTERNET EXPLORER BUT I HAVE TO USE IT SINCE VERIZON DSL HAS NO ICON. ANYWAYS JUST THE LAST WEEK I.E. WILL JUST CLOSE WHEN I AM ON VARIOUS WEBSITS AND CLICK ANYTHING ON THEM.

I just installed "critical" updates and I can't move the IE window or resize it. Right clicking the window shows both of these options in gray. What gives? There certainly is no user defined way to create this behavior.

TEXT SIZE in my IE6.0 browser is set to MEDIUM. I would like to change it to SMALLER. I can do that, but the change will not keep. Each time, I reopen the browser the TEXT SIZE is back to MEDIUM.
