i have a connection that is very slow to enter to internet

Whenever I enable Passive Mode in Internet Explorer, I cannot connect to an
FTP site in Passive mode.  The site supports both Active and Passive modes

Okay, I am getting the message below.  I have removed Internet Explorer from
programs yet it still is there onmy desktop.  I have ran lava soft ad-ware
and had over 500 items which I quarantened (sp?), but I am still getting alot
of pop ups, system running very slow, and shuts ...

Built another site about the same time with Publisher 2003 and it works fine.

I am trying to use gmail.com and I keep getting their message that says my
browser is disabling cookies. I've already gone into my privacy settings and
set the security levels to accept all cookies, but I still get the same
message from gmail.com.  Any suggestions?

I have been trying to save photos that I know are in jpg formt because I
uploaded them but when I look for them in my hard drive they are beign
coverted to jpeg. which are not the same. if I upload pictures in jpg I
should be able to download them in the same format.

and now my computer keeps giving me errors.

I'm running IE 6 and Acrobat Reader 6 and have just installed SP2.  Since
doing this I cannot access .pdf file on the web.  In some cases IE opens a
new window (but not acrobat reader) and i can see the file downloading but
when it has finished all i get is a symbol in the top ...

I'm experiencing problems with web pages loading.  Red X's appear where
graphics and/or images should be.  I'm connected correctly and some web pages
load fine, but other load the text and alot of the other stuff is missing.
Why am I experiencing this problem?

I like to run my IE6 window in full-screen mode (by hitting f11).  But, when
I open a PDF document in that window, I can't figure out how to leave the
document without closing the window.  The PDF plugin will not respond to the
f11 key any longer and there isn't (AFAIK) a way to ...
