When I click on a link that launches an .asp page for some reason IE doesn't
load the page it askes me which program i want to load the file with or if I
want to download the file.  Is there a setting in IE that prevents it from
running asp pages?  If so how do I allow asp pages ...

I am having a problem with IE6 running on windows NT.   A few web pages load
then quickly relaod then turn blank.  I installed all the current updates and
have played with every security connection I could find.  Sometimes I can get
the page to work if I refresh, but not always.  ...

Does anyone else get a very annoying water drip sound when opening some web
pages? It seems to be loosely associated with advertisements. Should I smash
my PC to bits or is there a way to turn it off?  I already searched the
Windows knowledge databases to no avail.

I have XP with SP2 and recently the font on certain web pages has gotten
really small.
I have the "view text size" set to medium (moving it to large doesn't make a
difference) and I haven't changed the font setting in IE (it's still Latin

I unloaded winxp service pack 2 and now i cannot get online? but my other
programs can still download updates? but not windows XP? ran the internet

We put some file:\\test.lnk type links to our intranet.
The problem is that when someone click on this link it prompts to open.
But when I put the link directly in the adress bar, it doesn't prompt.
What can I do? I don't want to see any prompt?

I have a shared internet connection on a small wired LAN.  One PC randomly
drops its internet connection and becomes non-responsive until the user
closes IE on the machine.  No other computer on the LAN is affected. The Main
PC is running XP PRO and other machines are running XP ...

It is shameful......IE 6 not being able to work after XP SP2 installation..
It's fine on my PC, but not on my Toshiba Laptop..
There have been enough complaints that Microsoft can't claim ignorance on
this one!!!!!
