Lately, I have been getting a lot of POP UP ads. I tried to block it using
the content tab in the properties of IE. Unfortunately, it asks for a
password, which I have forgotten. Is there a way around.

i have just installed windows 2000 server and sp 4. when i installed internet
explorer 6, it now shows the version of internet explorer an ie5, version 6...
any solution known?

just ran into this problem:
when I click on a link that opens a new window
it opens but does not load anything, just hangs
there with the logo rotating indicating some activity

I seem to have been the victim of a browser hijack. I'm running IE6
but now when I click on the IE logo it defaults to
C:\RECYCLER\index.html and shows a page saying "easysearch powered by

I have set up the rules to automatically send a response to message recieved
(tiggered by words in the message body)...it does this nicely ...HOWEVER it
keeps sending the resonse as an attachment!! My response letter is saved in
MY Doc's as I cannot find any tempate save option ...

unable to view it on the office computer, but I can at home.

ok, here is my problem.
First of all, I had to reload windows about a week ago (I screwed up
something in my Java, long story) The problem that I'm having did not happen
before I reloaded windows. Everything ran just fine.

I have lost some weeks of my History. I've been in the Date/Time Properties
and checked a date in 2003, I haven't changed the date of my Computer or
anything, yet all the history weeks after that 2003 date are now

Hello.  I am here because I need some help.  Whenever I startup Internet
Explorer it loads a page, say Hotmail, but it is full of broken images.  Upon
further inspection I have realized that it keeps using Western European (ISO)
encoding instead of Western European (Windows) ...
