i have brought a pc which is riddled with packard bell's graphics and logos
in explorer 6. does anyone know how to switch them off (in simple terms) and
restore explorer to how it was intended. i've tried the basic "change my
desktop theme" option but it still doesnt work.

In the past whenever I clicked the address bar drop down to get a list of my
previous visited sites it would ALWAYS have the top site highlighted. It
seems the drop down list that opens is sorted by last page visited being at
the top of the drop down list.

My homepage is msn, and every-time I start IE6 the page that comes up is not
the traditional MSN.com page in green/blue colour header, rather it is
unstructured in plain white with columns not at all justified.  On

I am having a problem when trying to delete AutoComplete
form and passwords.  When I click on "Clear Forms"
or "Clear Passwords", IE stops responding.  What can I

With my WinXp Home IE6 now at the SP2 level, the IE "Tools" menu now
shows a "manage add-ons" function.  The help-info for this function says
"Add-ons can be disabled but not easily removed".
